CRISIS INTERVENTION PROGRAM
Provides assistance for adults or families with children with heating or cooling related emergencies. Funds are available monthly on a first come first basis.
Provides assistance for families with children under age 18 in the household, and in an emergency situation. Funds may help pay rent, heating costs, electric bills, and other one-time necessary expenses. The assistance must alleviate the emergency. Families may receive this assistance once per year. Families must meet income and reserve guidelines.
Provides assistance for families with working adults and children under age 18 in the home. Funds may pay work-related participation expenses such as day care, transportation expenses, and other one-time expenses. The purpose of this program is to support working families so that they may continue to remain employed. Families must meet income guidelines.
Domestic Violence Assistance
Provides assistance for victims of domestic violence. Support groups, relocation assistance, and counseling are some of the available options. There must be a child in the home who is a citizen and families must meet income guidelines.
LOW INCOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Provides for a one-time cash payment to help eligible families pay their heating bills. This payment is usually received in February of each year.
